for BC owners: glass replacement and ICBC coverage

I have a crack from a stone and the estimate for replacement via the service booking is about $1300. In the past with other cars, I've been quoted the deductible as the price to pay, but there was no line/disclaimer/whatever about insurance covering the cost except for deductible.

In BC - if I get the windshield replaced at Tesla instead of "some glass place" am I waiving my insurance coverage? Can I even get the Tesla windscreen done at a place other than Tesla?
