Today I found out when the car comes to a stop and HOLD is selected that the brake pedal actually gets depressed. Seems like I would have noticed that over all the months of owning it.

If you are using cruise control and it stops you near a light, if you tap the accelerator it will sometimes slam the brake pedal up and down like mad. Makes a lot of noise, thought I broke something the first time it happened.

Yeah, I've had that too. Sometimes, it slow too much when approaching a stop light so I try to press to accelerator just a little to let it coast a little more and the brake pedal flips out lol.

Ive noticed this behavior since day 1. I actually believe there is a device which locks the brake pedal and that is how it 'holds' the vehicle. I actually hear a faint click when it does it. Had the car since June.

Yeah, it does apply the friction brakes not just electronic hold via traction motors like in the Bolt.
