You may be right about the one from the Tesla shop in regard to the button, I guess I assumed it had, though it does not say so in the description, and though the 11 kw version version from Evchargers is also available with a charge port button it jumps in price from $210 to an eye watering $375, so not an option I would choose

Nor I, but it is a convenience feature that might appeal to some, especially considering the Tesla (Mennekes) cable is $310 it's not that much more of a stretch.
Not trying to justify the price, just sayin'
