Front license plate holder

So, I ordered my model S and I just realized that the new models come from the factory with a front license plate holder. I don't like how that looks. Has anyone removed it? Does it leave holes in the bumper? (Sorry for the silly question).

Not a silly question--but as a relatively new forum visitor, you might avail yourself of the excellent search features on the TMC site. You will be amazed at how much info you will find to answer your question--how to do it, what happens, what tools you need, is it safe/legal, etc.

I agree the front looks much better w/o it. I took mine off even though i'm in NY which requires 2. Tough!
It's not hard and there are instructions with pictures etc.........here somewhere.
