On both of my FWD there is a distinctive sharp clunk or snap when the doors are opening. It happens about 1/2 up and I have confirmed it is in the middle of the two doors vs the main hinge at the top.
The SC thought it was some trim objects but I am suspicious as it happens on both doors. They had replace the FWD gaskets last year and it may have been since then but I am not certain. While it could be covered under warranty I don't want to involve the SC if I can because they are extremely busy, I don't have the time, they could possibly break something else in the process, no loaners ...
So has anyone else dealt with this issue and can point me to what was done to resolve it? If it does not include replacing parts and the doors don't have to be disassembled I am willing to try to tackle it myself.
