It's worth finding the full version; especially when he wires all the trunk batteries up in a short circuit and vaporizes the cable... there's a lot of energy in there!

It is fun to watch them convert a tired old (but classic) "beater" car into something that looks nearly showroom new and nice.

In the TLC pilot "Gadget's Electric Garage" Hippy Motors was responsible for the procurement of a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro and its incredible 14 day real time total cosmetic restoration.

Gadget and his crew converted the vehicle to run on electric power in conjunction with Hippy Motors resto.

...and speaking of Hippy Motors.... this is the coolest car they've done. Perhaps they coolest car ever. There was one parked outside a garage for a month or so last summer with original paint that still looked pretty good. I drooled every night as I drove by.
