@VandalSibs @Merner Recently purchased a "new to me" MY LR via private party. Do you recall how many cans of paint you used? Also, how's the paint/tape holding up?

Think we used one & half or two? It was back in June, so I don't totally remember. The tape was just to protect the Tesla emblem in the middle, it was removed once the paint was dry. There is no tape on the covers at all now.

So far, they have held up wonderfully - been a snowy winter here in Eastern Washington and no sign of paint coming off, and any curb bumps haven't really scrapped anything off.

Sorry for the delay, I haven't logged on in a while. It was 3 or 4 cans and it's holding up great. The tape is damaged in a few spots but that is from curb contact not regular wear and tear.
