    The part of that which I didn't expect was how the steering wheel made a bee-line to the driver's throat! If the rest of the injuries don't kill you, taking a baseball-bat-like blow to the larynx surely will!

    Yeah, read about them and the horrendous crash safety of the mini cars in India (alas, both my parents and in-laws drive variants of the Maruti-Suzuki Alto):
