Glossiness of Suntek Ultra vs Ceramic Pro

I’m considering wrapping my Tesla with Suntek Ultra given its hydrophobic and glossiness properties. For those with Suntek Ultra, are you satisfied with the “glossiness” of the PPF or did you feel ceramic coating is superior in that aspect?

There’s also been some concern in some other thread that ceramic coating over a PPF may interfere with its self-healing properties. Anybody else have this problem?

I have Suntek Ultra front PPF and also coated the car with Opti Gloss Coat. If anything, the Ultra provides a little more glossiness (its minor, but makes the clearcoat appear "deeper" than the non-PPF areas. RE: healing, my understanding is that with heat application you are fine for 'self-healing' even on coated PPF. If you are really concerned, all it takes is a mild polish to remove the CC from the area that requires healing, then apply heat.

Most important thing before either PPF or CC is to make sure your underlying paint/clear is up to snuff. Polish first. Orange peel on these Tesla's is really apparent as well, but that is very tough to address so it is what it is.

It is safe to use ceramic coatings over our PPF, and they will not negatively impact the performance of our PPF. Let me know if you have any additional questions.
