Got into an accident, can anyone help with advice?

Does anyone know what damage constitutes a totaled car? I got into an accident today on an icy ramp - the person in front of me spun out and I crashed into them, and the damage shown happened. I'm wondering if this is considered totaled? Any advice/experience would be appreciated so much!

I personally know a Model S owner from 2016 that had a more intrusive looking front end collision via a minivan backing out of a parking space and T-Bone-ing their front end. Your situation looks visibly better, yet speed may have been a larger factor in your case.
In any event, the model S was repaired, and not totaled.
Look around for similar threads, I see a pattern developing where front end collisions are being repaired.
Interested in hearing others input as well.

My X crashed June 6 at 10 mph looked worse than yours. I was told it would be total but no. repair 28k car finished 12/15. I could have received new X in early September. Due to very slow availability of parts it took 6 months for repair. That’s after having dealer expedite parts this sucks they had car longer than me

That doesn't look like it'll be totaled but you won't know until they start taking it apart.

A key indicator is if the central chassis / passenger cell changed shape at all. It doesn’t look that bad structurally, especially if the driver front wheel (and more importantly it’s mounting points) is still in the correct place.
