Gouged My Drivers Side Door Panel

Oh! I didn't even know there was a difference. Good to know.
Yeah, Tesla wised up later and decided that soft touch panels so low on the inner door panel wasn't a good idea. You'd think common sense would have told them that from the start for crying out loud. lol

But, seeing this panel keep getting more and more nicks in it really bugs the heck out of me because I take care of my vehicles. So I'm hoping someone comes up with a solution other than having to replace the entire panel, at a huge expense. And I did want to upgrade one day to a Model Y, but Tesla has raised their prices so much it's now not within my budget.

So now I have around 5 nicks near my drivers side cup holder and I honestly don't know how they got there. At first I though maybe it was my foot somehow, but now I wonder if it's the bottles I put in there. I don't ever recall snagging them on the soft touch material. Tesla should have never used this on the inner doors!
I have this happening to both of my door panels as this is a model 3 problem since this is now the second post I've found in less than ten minutes with identical issues. The other one is on reddit. Tesla quote for one side is $477, but I have this on both panels. I'm gathering these posts to show them there's something faulty around the speaker area.

The body shop that repairs my Model 3 after being hit, was supposed to be "Tesla Certified" specialists too, yet they did a terrible job. Even Tesla Service Center warranty work has been less than perfect. So I have a hard time trusting someone else working on my car. I really wish Tesla had not used soft interior door materials.
My experience in general is that a shop may be certified, but that doesn't mean everyone who works there will do a good job. Same for dealer shops themselves. They may have some people working there who are new doing the minor jobs, or who don't care that much, etc. Unfortunately, Tesla doesn't have a high priority on service.
