Great Delivery Experience

I just had a great delivery experience working with the team in Chicago and wanted to share. I ordered a black / white model 3 on 5/27/19 online and received a VIN and delivery appt two days later on 5/29/19, with delivery for 6/5/19. I read the stories on this forum, and many others, about their delivery issues and delays so I kept checking the inventory site to see if I could get a feel for other cars being manufactured / delivered. I saw a White model 3 with the same AWD LR configuration I had, but just missing autopilot, but wanted to upgrade to the white exterior instead. I wasn't working with a delivery specialist or sales agent up until this point, so I just called into the Chicago sales team who were able to both switch my car to the White model, add autopilot, and adjust my financing to cover a portion of the additional cost in a single phone call. After that point, the Chicago team maintained constant contact with me to update me on overall delivery times, and ended up delivering the car significant earlier than the scheduled service window (checking to make sure that was OK first) The delivery rep let me take as much time as I needed to check things out, helped me with getting the first few things on the car set up, and followed up later on a few outstanding questions I had about their local charger inventory. Car arrived in great shape, no cracks or gaps, runs well and I couldn't be more pleased. I understand my experience isn't everyone's, but I wanted to share as it seems like they are making improvements from where they were in the past.
