Had a power outage but now Gateway claims grid is noncompliant and won’t reconnect. Grid frequency is 60.75. What to do?

If the grid is up and you see this, it is a problem with the grid. There are a lot of power outages in Maine right now (see here) that are affecting their generation ability. This is what's known as a "Frequency Excursion" and you should report it to your power company. It is likely they are aware of it, and it should return to normal once they are able to stabilize the grid in your area. In the meantime, you'll be running on PWs until it is fixed.

Turns out the Gateway error was a misdirect. Power was actually still out with a circuit breaker open on the roadside pole which feeds just these two houses. There was a tree on the line in the neighbor’s yard. Three cherrypicker trucks with workers from away showed up to fix it. CMP is going to charge ratepayers later for all these guest workers.

The frequency measurement is meaningless when the voltage is anywhere near 0.
