Happy New Years to all. Some pics of the recent Fraser Valley Ice Storm. We’ve been out of power since Thursday, Dec 28th, but luckily I had a backup 18kW generator installed 2 years ago that’s been running for the last 3 days. Anyone want a referral code so that I can get a Powerwall for my next reward?(J/K).

Glad I got my truck still as falling power lines and branches everywhere.

That’s my father-in-laws Toyota Yaris. He’s not going anywhere since he needs eye surgery in January. I had to defrost my Toyota Tundra with an inch of ice on it by warming it up for 30 mins with my remote start. I also carefully splashed a bit of warm water on the door handle and sprayed some alcohol on the door seals to get one door to open.

That kind of weather provides perfect photo opportunities, but I know it doesn't look so perfect when you are stranded without the power. The pig seemed to be a great remedy for that! Thanks for sharing.
