Hardware 4 and Steam

Hi everyone,

Just got my model s and I love it I have one annoying problem with steam though
Those with hardware 4 who happen to use steam how stable has it been for you?
I can launch it once without any problems can play and download games but then if I close and reopen it steam won't load and after many attempts it won't load again the only way I can get it to run again is the wheel button reset

Has anyone else had this problem? Is it a known issue? I can't find any info on it l
Did I just get a bad firmware install or is it a hardware issue somewhere?

I am running 2023.12.5

Shouldn't be related to HW4 since Steam runs on the MCU and not the autopilot computer.

Had tesla service diagnose it and they say it's a glitch in the hardware 4 firmware will be fixed in a future update

This is not hardware 4 related per se but a few of us experienced this issue. They finally got mine fixed. Details can be found here:

Anyone experienced system crash after Steam re-launch?

When first launch steam, it works fine. Shut down steam, exit to car system, relaunch steam—-> system crash (reboot to restore) Talked to SC and their response is—> this is beta, wait for update. I am very curious: do other users have same experience? Or only me?
