Have some issues with a car after a sub-zero night

After a night of -7 °C, my M3 has some issues:

  • The backup camera and repeaters do not work.
  • The navigation map is not being updated with the current location. Always shows the location at home.
  • Automatic wipers do not work. Was coming back from work in the rain.
  • It did not dim the mirrors at night. I guess some sensor is responsible for that.
  • In the morning proximity sensor's UI was stuck in the left panel. After I came home and did some resets it seem to start working again.
The speedometer works though. Can use the map UI, it's not like it's frozen.

Tried the reset by steering wheel buttons and by buttons + break. Did not help.

Checked for a software update. There was one. Issues are still there after the update.

Any suggestions?

I don't think that most, maybe even all, of your problems are due to cold weather. I've owned my M3 since 9/21, parking outdoors year round and here in the northwestern corner of MA. The only cold weather issue I've ever encountered was a frozen door handle. That was fixed by turning on climate control for about 20 minutes to unthaw it. You should make a service appointment and let them diagnose the issues.
