Headlamp bulbs ??

I have a 2014 S85 with the tech package, tonight my headlights started acting all weird and one of them won't come on.

Looks like one of the normal headlamp bulbs is out so I need to change it.

I'm trying to figure out what part I need to fix this, I need to fix it fast as the car isn't very safe to drive in the dark with the light out.

Where do I find this info? I searched but I get conflicting results

If your bulb is hid then the bulb will be D3S

Go here and put in your car info then it will tell you light bulb type...

They are indeed D3S. I just replaced mine a couple weeks ago with Morimoto XB bulbs from The Retrofit Source. A tad bit whiter and brighter vs stock.
You need to remove the wheel and partial wheel well liner, but def an easy DIY job.

Have you actually installed them into the stock HID projector housings? Brighter means nothing if the beam pattern is a hot mess...
