Having a single temperature setting means that either the heat or AC is on all the time. Being able to set a range where one gets ventilation only without heat or AC would be helpful in temperate conditions, or when the AC is on but the temperature drops in the evening.

In the latter case, being able to keep the heat off would also work.

Yes please. This 3+ year HVAC bug where the cabin heater comes on when only cooling is desired is completely insane. It appears to affect both resistive cabin heaters and heat pump systems.
