I think Tesla needs to be very careful not to allow these kinds of mistakes to occur as this type of experience can really reduce someone's enthusiasm for the company and I believe this enthusiasm is such a great and incredibly important asset for the company
I could not agree with you more. I am a HUGE Tesla proponent, but it can't be all rosy all the time and the problems need to be aired now that you have 1500 zealot Roadster owners because the tens of thousands of Model 'S' owners will not be able to absorb any service issues the way Roadster owners are willing to sometimes look the other way. I continue to think that Tesla's Achilles heel is their service department and hope that they will be working hard to remedy that for Model 'S'.
