Holiday update radio

Ever since my M3 AWD updated to the 2021 holiday update the radio hasn’t sounded the same.

All the settings to be the same. The only difference is there are 5 levels of settings for immersive audio. I have it on auto as I did previously but the radio doesn’t sound as full and perfect as it did.

I tried settings it manually but it’s still not as perfect as it was previously. Is this a bug? Has anyone else experienced this? Any fixes?

the immersive sound update came quite a while ago.... nothing to do with v11.
There is some slight loss of stereo width as most of the high end seems to now be created by the windscreen speakers rather than the door speakers. Thats a good thing and it improved immersive audio quite a bit.

You can use the 5 band graphic equalizer (I haven't looked for it lately but think it's still there) to boost treble, mid-range &/or bass
to better suit your audio preferences. That might help some.

Maybe splitting sub and bass into two discrete EQs tweaked things a little differently, maybe there's some low range filler missing, it's sometimes not specifically that audible, but makes a difference in the whole sound image.
