Home Delivery to Northern Ireland?

I decided to buy a Model 3. Currently there is no service center in Northern Ireland and its not possible to get it delivered to Dublin. Meaning my closest service center is away in Edinburgh.

On the FAQ page on the Tesla site its states that if you are 160 miles away from the nearest service center you can get it delivered to your home:

Has anyone been able to use this to get a car home delivered to Northern Ireland? I don't want to have to go through the hassle of travelling to Scotland and transporting it back in a Ferry if possible.

NI servicing can be done in Dublin, just car needs collecting from Edinburgh.

Think a Belfast SC is in the works too

i think you need to wait a bit longer for delivery.
Most people on here have been waiting so long for their car that they would collect it off the dock at Zeebrugge if Tesla offerred it!

Didn't realise that was an option when I got mine - although not sure if I'd have taken it anyway - cheap flight to Edinburgh, then made a bit of a day of it, good drive down to Cairnryan to test out the car and then easy crossing home - although it was blowing a gale so the ferry back was a bit squeaky bum with a brand new car on board.
