Hey all,

I ordered the HomeLink module a few weeks ago and selected my local service center for the installation, but I haven't heard a thing from Tesla or the service center since. I have tried calling the service center but can't get an actual person on the line - its all either automated or telling me to schedule an appointment through the app.

What have other people's experience with HomeLink install been? Did you just wait until they reached out to you, and if so, how did they reach out and how long did it take? Alternatively, can this be done with a mobile service visit?

Any insight would be appreciated, thanks.
 
This is the same situation I was in. Don't wait for them to make contact with you -- you need to make a service appointment for installation even if you don't hear anything from them. I just had mine installed this afternoon.
