I submitted this as a bug report to Tesla earlier this week but I am curious to hear if any other members of this forum are having this issue. Since the last firmware update Homelink shows the notification that "the garage door will auto close in 20 feet" as I am pulling out of my garage, but no homelink signal is sent, nor is there a beep and the distance indicator no longer counts down. I can still activate Homelink manually to close the door, and the auto open feature still works when I approach the garage. This my simply represent a program corruption requiring some sort of reset, or it might be related to the firmware update, as Homelink has been broken by previous updates particularly when we were on firmware 8.0.
If anyone else is having Homelink issues since the 42.12.1 I would appreciate hearing about it as this information may narrow down the cause, and my likely action.
