Nobody should have to pay for this "correction". It is not an upgrade, it is to correct some moron's design screw up.

I am very happy if my car gets this firmware upgrade. It was a poor design decision to not have the horn work like most other cars, I'm assuming it was a supply issue more than a design decision.

I don't disagree with you. But if they won't fix it for free, I'll pay for it. The other weekend, I couldn't even honk at some idiot that was about to hit me.

Beyond me why they couldn't make the airbag also double as a horn....... like every other car.

Same happened to me. I turned on my wipe instead which was another distraction on top of it.

I would have no objections to NHTSA investigation that led to mandatory recall for horn placement. Ridiculous design decision for daily driver. Like others I’ve accidentally cleaned my windshield when attempting to hit the horn during emergency situations smh…..
