I'm in a process of purchasing used Tesla 3 long range.
I am totally confused with the horse power info.
There are ads saying 204 HP and then next to it 351 HP for the same car.
So which one is it then?
Also keep in mind since the drivetrain is very simple, you get 99% of that power to the wheels, compared to ~85% of it to the wheels as in gasoline powered cars, and no delays in shifting, since there is no shifting. BUT, horsepower starts to drop off after 40mph, and as battery state of charge gets low.
@A55k1ck3r Let us know what AP software and hardware the car has when you get it!
Also, a suggestion. If you want FSD and this car doesn't already have it, it's worth looking for a used car that does. From what I've seen the used car market values FSD *much* lower than what Tesla charges to add it as a new purchase. Like you might have to pay only a few thousand extra, if that, to get a used Model 3 with FSD vs an equivalent one without. That could save you a lot of money compared to spending $10k (or $12k now?) for a new FSD purchase!
Similarly, even if you only want the EAP features, it's probably much cheaper to find an equivalent used Model 3 that has EAP or FSD already purchased than to purchase FSD yourself from Tesla. (As others noted, purchasing FSD always unlocks the EAP features.)
