How do I private message another member?

At one time, I believe it was before TMC changed it's forum software, I was able to PM another member. For the life of me, I can't find the way to do that now. Can someone please jolt down a step by step instruction? Thanks much.

You want "Start a conversation" now. You can initiate it by either clicking on their screen name and selecting it from there, or clicking the icon at the top right of any screen, just to the left of the bell icon.

OK, I went there but other than allowing me to start a conversation, I still don't see how to PM.

'Conversation' is another word for 'PM'.

The best way is to ask question in threads that you are interested in . Worked for me.

I ended up just commenting a bunch of times on interesting threads (Around 5-8 comments) and eventually I was allowed.

Yea, I used to be able to PM and now its not really apparent.
