How Do You Deal With This (Ice buildup)?

Ice knocked out AP, FSD. My car has PPF and ceramic coat, but did not help.

My son said I had to drive the car myself, "Like a chump". When we pulled over I made him clear it off, but it would build up again.

Seems like it would require heated sensors or are there any other measures, a de-icer ?

They claim the Model Y has heated radar. I tend to think it doesn’t. I’ve had that build up also, disabled AP.

Just the top coat ???? Comes as a 2 part system.

It's also available in a 1 part spray but it says that's for glass.
