How long did it take for the shop to paint your calipers?

While calling around and speaking to various companies that paint brake calipers, I am getting 2 different timeframes.

1) calipers r us - They say they will paint my calipers in 3-4 hours, heating the paint between coatings and applying the decals before putting clear coat on.

2) Alloy Wheel Repair of Gaithersburg and Kwicksilver - They say it will take 2-3 days to paint the calipers

How long did it take for all of you to get your calipers painted? I'm a bit concerned about option 1 where it's 3-4 hours where they are heating the paint to dry it so they can add multiple coats in a short amount of time.

I did my own in about 4 hours....that includes letting the red dry before applying the decal and clear. You only have to paint the front part of the caliper. It takes longer to mask than to paint. I used hi-heat paint spray from Amazon. About $40 total.
