How long til Aeros scuff wheels

New mode 3 on the way and I’m not sure my hub cap “kit” will be delivered in time. Anyone have an idea how long it might be ok to drive with Aeros before they start scratching up the wheels?

I know it’s hard to say exactly but can anyone say they drove them for a month or two and removed them and found scratches or not?

I swap back and forth when I take a long trip. Haven’t noticed any scratching as of yet. I’ve only had mine since the end of March.

Are the stock tesla aero covers known to scratch? I thought it was only the Rimetrix Orbitals that were known to do that.

I take the aeros off every-other car wash to give the wheels a good scrub and haven't noticed anything yet. I got the car in March.

It takes a while but it eventually happens. I started noticing scuffs on the wheel spokes about two years in.

I installed the wheel kit months after taking delivery, and there were no scratches. You should be fine.
