How to access the low voltage battery ?

I watched some youtube video on how to remove the lid (in the frunk) to expose the low voltage battery. Mine is a 16 volts and I like to take a look at it.
The problem is the plastic lid cover is to hard to remove. How can I remove it safely without breaking it >
Same question about exposing the tire nuts (5 of them). AS shipped, it has a cover (for cosmetic) , again, I saw video showing people just pulling it out hard and it comes out.
Is it that simple ? I do not want to break it either.

Will try. Kind of scary as this is my brand new M3. The worst would some broken plastic, no big deal.

I did pull harder today and yes, these things pop out. Once I see what hold them in place, I am confident about pulling them off.
