How to tell if wheels (with tires mounted) have TPMS?

I bought a set of Model 3 20" Performance (Induction) wheels with Pirelli PZero tires and was told they have TPMS.
Must I take one to a tire shop for them to check to be sure? I plan to sell them.

Rubber valve stems would be an easy sign. Otherwise if they are metal valve stems you would have to dismount the tire to tell. Tire shops should have a scanner that can connect to them sometimes as well.

Once you followed what @kevin @ eas instructed, having a TPMS does not guarantee that it works. Is the battery still good? Is it compatible with your car model?

Rubber would mean they are taken out. Metal stems are a sign they are in place, but cant be guaranteed without scanning physically inspecting that they are the right version.

Nothing to lose by throwing them on the car and seeing if they connect.

The TPMS battery life should last for at least 3-5 years or more. Just put the wheel onto the car and take it for a quick spin. New bluetooth TPMS pick up the pressure pretty quickly.

It it doesn't read any pressure after few miles of driving, that pretty much means there's no TPMS in there. (Or incorrect one)
