How will the Roadster appreciate: Bricklin or Shelby Cobra?

Anyone have thoughts for how the Roadster will appreciate, if at all, over the years?

Will it be remembered as a novelty like the Bricklin or something that excites passions, and therefore draws top dollar like a Shelby Cobra? You could use any two cars for comparison - DeLorean and Gull wing Mercedes. Other suggestions?

There no way to predict the future, but I'm just curious what people have to say, and why they think that way.
