HV Battery Part Number Label Error?

Hi everyone,
I own a 2024 Model Y Long Range All Wheel Drive. I am very happy with it! This question is purely out of curiosity.
I took a photo of the sticker on the car's battery pack. The part number info printed on the label is;
(P) 1234422-00-A, style FA, HVBAT 400VDC E3
I then looked at the Tesla online parts catalog for the battery assembly. There were two part numbers listed;

Neither one of these official part numbers exactly matches what is printed on my battery pack label.
I would ASSUME my battery pack label SHOULD be 1234422-20-A.

Can anyone help explain the discrepancy on the label on my battery pack?

It is unlikely that your label is wrong.

Tesla doesn't list deprecated parts in the EPC. The version of the pack in your car has probably been discontinued, and removed from the EPC, and replaced by 1234422-20-A. (Or it is a factory only part that isn't available to order, and the replacement is the 1234422-20-A variant.)

Thanks Mike,
The serial number indicates my battery pack was fabricated at Tesla Gigafactory 1 (Texas) on March 24 2024. I guess that's coming up on 3 months old now. With the speed that Tesla moves at, I COULD see the part number becoming obsolete! But I also like your other idea that there could be a part number for when the battery is installed as part of the vehicle fabrication and a separate part number for when a battery pack is ordered as a replacement.
I "traded up" to the MY from my previous Nissan Leaf. The extra range and supercharger network are a game changer! I don't think I have any reason to have an ICE vehicle anymore.

On another curiosity note, from the extra descriptions in the battery pack coolant volume info, it would appear that my "E3" battery uses 2170 style cells. Is there any way to figure out if they are NCA or NCM or what brand the cells are?
