HVAC vs battery tempeture protection

Hello,

I have notice during intense warm weather that the HVAC flow of air in cabin reduced to almost zero. And this even when I set the tempeture to low.

Also when this happens the fan that feeds the radiator do not run normally.

Is this a normal behaviour to somehow protect the battery against damage by heat or is there a problem that have to be fixed.

I have model X delivered Mars 2020.

thanks,

I've only had one time when our 2017 6-seater X A/C was inadequate. It blew warm air during a Southern California road trip, but only between two Supercharger stops. The outside temp was something like 110F+. I don't know what caused that, but given it worked again after the next Supercharging stop with no significant drop in temperature it might have simply needed a reset. But it might have been cooling the battery. The car (in Auto climate) gave us plenty of air flow during this, it was just warm air.

Unless you are seeing those kinds of conditions for long periods of time I don't think its battery cooling causing the problem.
