HW on Current Inventory

Any recent inventory purchases able to share if you got HW3 or HW4?

When searching ev-cpo all of the Plaid models show as “~3.0”. But other models show “3.0” “4.0” or “~3.0.”

Hard to imagine 3.0 models are still being produced, but it seems there’s no 4.0 plaid models in inventory?

I bought my MX back on March 18th and have HW4 and the Phoenix radar (build date 02/01/2023) but no USS. The cameras have that red tint to it. Does the MXP you're looking at have USS?

I have a new model x (not a plaid) build date April 2023. Picked it up 3 days ago.

How do u tell what HW level is installed?

The car does not have USS's.

Red tinted cameras and 2 cameras instead of 3 in the front is HW4

Correct me if I’m wrong, but haven’t all X and S cars produced in 2023 come with HW4? Would be surprised to find a “new” one in Tesla inventory with HW3 at this point.

Unless a vehicle is somehow from Jan/Feb, it will have HW4.

That’s probably why they are offer free supercharging for 3 years if you take the vehicle by June 30 delivery. To get rid of HW3 stock is my guess.

I got 3 years with a new build plaid that I took delivery on 6/7 on in Fremont
