Ideas on how to reduce motor temps

On the 1.5 the air comes from the passenger side inlet.

Actually on the 1.5 the air comes from the blower motor located in the rear center/tail of the car. There's a short duct that directs the air to the cooling fins of the motor which has a plastic shroud around it to help keep the motor clean as well as to allow the air to be forced through the fins.

The side vents are really only for looks, but do ad some air flow to happen mostly for the PEM.
