Inaccurate interior temperature

The interior temperature in my 2023 Model Y app display is about 10-20 degrees (Fahrenheit) higher than the actual temperature reading from a thermometer I placed in the car. Is this common phenomenon? Is there way to correct it? The inaccurate interior temperature reading make it easy to kick on over-heat protection in the summer. Is it OK to disable the over-heat protection and just leave the car window open?

I will guarantee you that the temperature in the car, when measured with a laboratory grade calibrated thermometer will vary much more than 10 degrees depending in where it is being measured.

Turn OFF overheat protection, it is NOT NEEDED. It is a comfort thing ONLY. The car can handle the heat, Yes even 120 degree ambient temperature parked in the sun.
