Incoming call ring very loud

Upgraded to MCU2

The ringing from incoming calls (to my iPhone) is extremely loud. I tried lowering the volume in the car or on my phone but they both didn’t make a difference.

Is there a way to reduce the intensity of the ringing?

Someone did mentioned this a while back but can’t remember was it a iPhone or Android settings that you need to adjust - there was one toggle button for selecting a volume for bluetooth connection and allowing to override system volume.

I think all you need to do is use the scroll wheel to lower the volume while the phone is ringing.

Delete phone completely from Bluetooth phone and car Bluetooth settings

Delete app

Download app
Reinstate new Bluetooth connection

This should help you get back to normal

Pretty sure the app has nothing to do with the phone as my wife’s phone connects to my car without the app. But certainly worth a shot.

I think that’s true for making/receiving calls, but you might need the app to sync calendar entries, and maybe call logs and contacts (not sure about the last 2).

I must be doing something wrong. The incoming call ringing is excessively loud. I tried “forgetting” my iPhone and reconnecting via Bluetooth.
The music volume and chimes all work great, just the incoming call is out of proportionally loud.
If anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
