I have a ClipperCreek HCS-40 hardwired wall charger that I use to charge my Model Y every night. Starting only about a week ago, I wake up to a bunch of error messages from Tesla that charging stopped a couple of times through the night. Error such as "Charging equipment communication lost" and "Charging equipment reports error." The car is still charged to the set limit by morning, but I'm trying to figure out why this is happening. The charger had been charging my car for a year without these issues.
Is it likely that my charger is beginning to fail? Or is this some known software bug in recent versions of the Tesla OS? (I'm guessing not, otherwise I feel like I'd be reading more about it here). The charger is about 8 years old. Thanks.
