My batteries are pretty much fully discharged and recharged on a daily basis. I'm for a zero power bill and maximum ROI, and I plan to put the batteries through their paces. I also expect that in 15 years when I need to probably replace these, there will be newer and better options.

Our system just got installed last week (in NY), and I am in your camp -- need max ROI. So far, I have left the PWs at default (50% discharge) -- is your discharge level much lower (say 20%)?

I have it set to 20% usually, however if I am getting close to 20% and there doesn't seem to be any outages or storms, I'll shift down to 10% or even 0%.
I'm on a 3:1 for pull/push, so I try to avoid pulling from grid when possible.
