Is it possible to add heated steering wheel to 20’ 3 LR?

I made an appointment on the app and asked if it can be programmed and they replied they want to set up a visit to diagnose without answering if it is possible. Not really keen on paying for a visit, only for them to tell me it can’t be done as my 20’ model does not have the capability. Does anyone know definitively if it can be added?

Can probably be done aftermarket with a physical switch somewhere but if you want to work like factory through the screen then no.

Really? I thought the issue was that the wiring loom to the wheel doesn’t include the right wires? So even if you installed a heated wheel, no way to get power to it without major rewiring?

Change the clock spring and find a spot to tap 12v and wire in a switch

The hardware was done by someone on YouTube but the software was not completed and he never followed up.

The software now can be done with the adapter. BOOST 50 FOR TESLA MODEL Y
