Is Martin Eberhard still with Tesla Motors?

Foreshadowing

Perhaps the chosen name of the company was a foreshadowing of what was to come. From Wikipedia:

"In 1886, Tesla formed his own company, Tesla Electric Light & Manufacturing. The initial financial investors disagreed with Tesla on his plan for an alternating current motor and eventually relieved him of his duties at the company."

Another parallel?

Tesla's AC power eventually dominated over Edison's DC power, but only after decades of fierce competition. In November, 2007, Con Ed finally turned off the very last DC service, making Tesla's victory absolutely complete, though long after his death.

I expect that it will also take decades, but evenually electric cars will dominate over gasoline cars.

Many decades from now, the last gasoline station wil finally close. Anyone wanting to take their gas powered vehicle out of the museum for a quick spin around the block will have to special order the gasoline, at extreme expense. People will turn to stare and complain about the horrible noise and smoke and smell of the ancient fuel burner.

Around that same time, someone will start a new technology company to challenge the status quo, and name their company after Eberhard.
