Yeah, Superchargers are crazy abundant along the entire East coast, but traveling across big parts of Texas, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Montana, Kansas, Nebraska, etc. is a different proposition. And the SC network strongly favors Interstate highways, foregoing the lesser highways and scenic routes.
For example, I can't get to Phoenix via our usual route from Texas without using some form of public charging (most of which seems to favor CCS). A $175 CCS adapter seems to be the only reasonable alternative, but it annoys me to have to pay that for something I might use once or twice a year. Oh well, it's only money, right?
