There are lots of threads about "getting used" to an EV. That is synonymous to learning by OJT. Driving is changing. I wonder if highschool driver's education classes incorporate EVs.
I don't believe I learned anything specific about gasoline vehicles when learning to drive. The acts of fueling and maintenance are separate from operations.
Most people think a Tesla is just a car that has a battery. People talk about "getting used" to driving it. Maybe instead of calling it "Driver Training" it should be called "Driver Acclimatization...ing".
Just FYI, my kids went to Driver’s Ed for the insurance discount. Then I sent them to a proper class where they learned how to drive and not get killed e.g hydroplaning, panic stops, accident avoidance, wheels off the pavement, and more. Best money I ever spent!
Take your EV to a drivers test chances are they will fail you, cops around the world come standard issue meat and taters everywhere, to their minds a nerd is like a red flag at the corrida.
