Is transfer of Model 3 invitation to someone else possible?

I pre-ordered Model 3 and now have an invitation.
I'm going to stick to Model X, and was wondering if it's possible to transfer the invitation to someone else rather than just cancelling it. Anyone with experiences?

It’s been discussed thoroughly. You can’t transfer an actual reservation. You can place the order and register it in the other person’s name. Then they are responsible for payment and pick-up. The only hiccup is getting that car on their Tesla account and off of yours. I just did it an I need to get Tesla to take my friend’s car off of my Tesla account and my iPhone app.

You can transfer/merge reservations with an immediate family member but would lose the original Tesla account. I was going to do it but they would have taken both my reservations.
