Is Tunein on the Model 3 supposed to be ad-free? I'm referring to actual Tunein ads, not ads or commercials from local radio stations. I can't recall exactly but when I first got my Model 3, I don't remember hearing any Tunein ads either at the beginning of audio play or during audio play. Also, I recently logged into my free Tunein account by using the QR code from the display screen so that I get the same bookmarked stations in my PC and my Model 3. That's when I noticed the Tunein ads in the Tesla. So, I logged out of my account on the Model 3 and I'm using the default account login (which is no login). But I still hear Tunein ads now.
So, now I'm wondering if I poisoned the Tesla Tunein ad-free service by logging in or were Tunein ads always part of the Tesla Tunein service? I'm wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing.
