I have a 6 months old Model Y and one of the key cards stopped working. I took it in for service and they said it's $40 for a new one. Not covered under warranty. Wtf? I declined for now since I have one working one but this is just insane to me. I asked what am I supposed to do for valet? They said to use remote start in the app and that Tesla is moving away from the key cards. Only the fobs or phones will be used.
