I'm about to return my leased Model Y and get a new one. I bought a couple of extra card keys for the old car. Will I be able to re-use those with the new car, or do they get permanently attached to the first car they bind to? Thank you.

Like @buckets0fun said, you can re use them. I second @buckets0fun 's recommendation to remove them from the old car, but a keycard can be paired with at least 2 vehicles, as I have done that with my own and my wifes vehicle. Not sure what the limit is.
I do the same with our M3 and MY. Key cards are "passive" since they don't have internal power. I am guessing that one Tesla would not "know" if the key card is used with another Tesla already.
