Lag in "off the line" acceleration

I was wondering what was going on every once in a while! I went into Autopilot and turned it off.

Late to this party. Only experienced this a few times, most recently this morning, which had me worried something more ominous was happening “under the hood.” Always happens when I’m at the front of the line and want to get ahead quickly to change lanes. Glad to know that it’s just a setting. I can live with it if it provides a margin of safety. Even with the turbo lag, I still get the intended result!
