Level 3 Charger in NYC

I just stumbled across this on plugshare, wasn't there last time I checked. http://www.plugshare.com/?location=14268 It's a level 3 charger in NYC that is supposedly free with free parking???? sounds too good to be true. I don't understand what type of charger it is though. Can a Tesla use it? Is it a J1772 connector? How many amps? But if it's 'level 3', isn't that DC and thus a Tesla MS cannot use it?

If this is part of the NYC Electric taxi program as the description says, then it is a Chademo charger and can't be used by the Model S. They just installed one of these in my garage (Manhattan Plaza at 42nd & Dyer) a few months ago and I see the Leaf Taxis charging there often. It is open to the public as well.

I keep hoping Tesla will announce a Chademo adapter for the S.

Yep, it's a CHAdeMO charger that the S can't use.
